With a catchy tune playing in the background and a series of beautiful shots for a few of the cars featured in the game, the newest trailer for Gran Turismo 5 is nothing short of breathtaking, as usual.

I find it really hard to believe that looking at GT 5 is looking at a game. It’s one of the few pseudo-realistic games out there that really pushes the boundaries on the realism factors.

One of the prime highlights of the trailer isn’t just in showcasing the graphics, though. There are plenty of new features from the upcoming Gran Turismo that also makes the cut, including night racing and finally, we get some brief clips of the NASCAR racing and pit crews. Oh, and how could I forget...real time damage gets a slight nod in the trailer as well.

Hands down it’s starting to look like Gran Turismo 5 is more like an alternative to Forza Motorsport 3 rather than a direct competitor. The cool part about it is that what one game lacks in content (or graphics) the other game makes up for it one way or another.
