The PC and PS3 editions of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City will not arrive on March 30th as planned. Instead, the release is being pushed back two weeks.

Episodes, a retail bundle of downloadable episodes Grand Theft Auto: The Lost & Damned and Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony, is now expected on April 13th in North America and on April 16th everywhere else. The delay affects the individual episodes' digital release as well. Rockstar said that the release date was changed due to a request by Sony to make "minor content changes" to the PAL PS3 version.

"We understand and sympathise with the fans that will be upset by this delay," said Rockstar. "We want to assure our fans that the minor changes made to the game will not affect the gamers enjoyment of the games, these will not affect any gameplay elements and were not related to any local ratings requirements."

According to a new Rockstar blog post, the minor change resulted in a two weeks delay because it needed to be retested and resubmitted to Sony. They to made the delay across all versions and territories so that "everyone can experience multiplayer simultaneously, take part in online events together, be on level ground on leaderboards, etc."
