Take-Two's quarterly earnings statement, besides revealing that BioShock 2's platforms were still undetermined, contained another bit of interesting news: Grand Theft Auto IV has sold over thirteen million copies.

The press release notes that GTA IV was past thirteen million as of January 31st. The game was released on April 29th, 2008 and sold an estimated six million copies in its first week.

No sales figures were provided for The Lost and Damned, the downloadable content episode released exclusively for the Xbox 360 version of GTAIV in mid-February. A recent estimate by an industry analyst suggested that a million copies of the expansion had been sold. Take-Two mentions that the second planned Xbox 360 exclusive DLC episode should be released by October 31st, the end of their fiscal year.
