After the mind-blowing press conference given by Microsoft yesterday – unveiling all sorts of games and devices, two of which were Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach – it was recently unveiled that a collector’s edition of Halo 3: ODST was on its way.

According to Electronic Theatre, Microsoft has let loose the news about a collector’s edition for the upcoming game in the Halo franchise.

The collector’s edition will come jam-packed with a wealth of entities that include a wireless controller, an invitation to the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta, three new Halo 3 multiplayer maps, a new cooperative mode called Firefight that allows for four-players to fight increasingly difficult waves of enemies and an all new story-mode experience told through the eyes of an Orbital Drop Trooper. Sorry, folks, there doesn’t appear to be any Master Chief helmets included in this package.
