IGG recently sent out word that a new free-to-play MMORPG for browser-based play is on the way and it’s called Heroes of Bestia. It may not be the most striking name to hit the MMO news-waves but hey, gamers obviously don’t like MMOs just for their names, otherwise no one would play World of Warcraft.

According to the press release…

Heroes of Bestia has taken the lead in the next generation of browser-based games by introducing a unique movement function that lets you move your hero anywhere in the game world you like. This improves interaction with other players and creates a more lifelike connection with the heroes you are commanding. Ultimately it is the hero takes the lead in battle, and it is up to these intrepid lieutenants to carry out your orders.

The game features team-based play, black dragons, angels, magical abilities, and a robust new combat system. Details on the combat weren’t entirely released but I’m sure they’ll surface soon enough.
