Nintendo Wii owners will finally receive the very first ever ‘M’ rated title from Sega. Yes, for now, hardcore gamers can dust off the shovelware-container known as the Wii and ready it for a real action game. Let’s just hope that HotD doesn’t disappoint.

House of the Dead: Overkill features seven levels of gory goodness, a purposefully made script to rekindle ‘B’ movie goodness (or badness), and plenty of zombie shooting action that is at least bound to be more exciting than the remake of Friday the 13th.

The game maintains a grindhouse style presentation, which is both funny and kind of grimy. And is it me or does the new Agent ‘G’ look like Nick Cage from True Crime: Streets of LA? Anyway, it’ll be difficult to determine how well the Wii audience will take to this game, but here’s hoping Headstrong Games will make enough return on this project to stay in business.
