How To Make Your Own Mirror's Edge Maps

DICE doesn't plan to release an official Mirror's Edge level editor until the second or third installment but that doesn't mean you can't make your own custom maps. A few clever gamers have figured out a way to do just that.

Apparently you can swap the Unreal Tournament III level editor over to your Mirror's Edge folder and voila, bootleg editor. You can get more in-depth instructions on the process here. I suspect you'll run into a few issues here and there but it seems to be your only option for creating your own ME content so you'll just have to suck it up.

It's too bad DICE didn't include an official toolset with the original game. The game's tech had a lot of raw potential that could've been spun into gold by the community. Still a fun game overall, though.
