Hudson Releases New Screenshots For The Calling It’s about time the Wii start receiving games not chiefly designed for six-year-olds. Companies are finally starting to unveil more mature titles such as The Grinder, The Conduit, The Grude and Cursed Mountain. In addition to the abovementioned titles, Hudson is joining in on the creepy-game genre with, The Calling and they released a few new screenshots just to show how creepy the game is.

“Players will be asked to use their wits and senses to survive the world of Calling,” said Mike Pepe, Director of Marketing of Hudson Entertainment. “It is a game that revolves around real people and real emotions – no chain saws or suits of armor. The game is traditional survival horror at its finest.”

Yeah based on the screenshots this game looks radically different from a lot of the crap that has been flooded onto the Wii. I really like the fuzzy-TV color palette and disoriented aesthetic that appears in the screenshots. It really does make the game standout.

Calling is due out exclusively for the Nintendo Wii in 2010. For more information on the game you can visit the Official Hudson Soft Website. The new screenshots of the game can be viewed below. For more gaming news, info, updates and insight, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
