Hudson Uses Lost In Shadow Facebook Page To Help Kids
How exactly does a company use a Facebook page to help a child’s charity fund…especially with a video game? Well, here’s how: Hudson has opened up the Lost in Shadow Facebook page and for every one who joins as a fan, Hudson will donate 10 cents to the Child’s Play charity fund. The good part about it is that all you greedy money-horders out there can keep your dollar bills locked away because all you have to do is click to become a fan.
Kristin Lindsay, Foundation Coordinator for Child’s Play let loose a few words in the press release, stating…
"Child's Play is excited about Shadows To Light Day and the opportunity it's creating for children across the nation," …. “We invite the vibrant gaming community to join in, log onto Facebook, and help us make a difference!”You can follow along with the progress of Hudson’s attempt to give back to a charity using their latest Wii title, Lost in Shadows by visiting the Official Website. The game is due out exclusively for the Nintendo Wii in early January of 2011.
