Huge Unadvertised Sale This Weekend At Gamestop, EB Games

Good news today for all you cheapskates out there. During a trip to my local Gamestop I stumbled upon fantastic news for everyone who holds their coin purse far too close to their heart.
I was examining a special edton copy of Final Fantasy XII when I overheard the store manager talking to an employee about a “huge sale this weekend” that he was going to need help setting up for. I approached the manager with ears perked, “a sale!?” said I.
He seemed rather perturbed that I had overheard this information, and begrudgingly proceeded. “It’ll be a lot of the older stuff; PS2, Xbox, and a lot of accessories,” said the store manager who wished to remain anonymous. “You’ll see this stuff up for between 25 and 50 percent off.”
I went on to ask about the reasoning for the sale, suspecting that it may have come from a desire to clear out old inventory. He told me that word “had come down from on high,” and he was just following orders. “They probably struck a deal with a bunch of publishers to sell at a lower price.”
Gamestop Corporate was not available for comment as of press time (Night owls us), but we will of course update on this story once we know for sure
You all officially have no excuse to not pick up a copy of Okami. Oh and while you’re there see if you can snag a discount on Odin Sphere because my goodness that game is beautiful.
The employee said the sale would begin Saturday at regular hours.
