Last month, Blend Games noticed a job listing that suggested Ubisoft's I Am Alive would have a multiplayer component. If that didn't convince you, here's another piece of evidence.
The LinkedIn profile for Ubisoft's Paul Robinson describes his current position thusly: "Game Director for I Am Alive - we're doing some exciting stuff and if you are a lead mp designer, drop me a line."
Interestingly enough, "Lead Multiplayer Designer" was the exact name of the position that Ubisoft was looking to fill in December. That job listing didn't mention I Am Alive by name but the details strongly insinuated that was the game Ubisoft was recruiting for. This new clue makes it seem even more likely.
What sort of multiplayer could I Am Alive have? Good question. I Am Alive is expected in Ubisoft's next fiscal year, which begins on April 1st, 2010 and ends on March 31st, 2011. If they really intend to release the game within the next 14 months, they're bound to start releasing actual details about it.
