SouthPeak Games today announced that Imperium Romanum, a historical PC strategy game, will release in North America this March. Players will take on the role of the governor of a province and build up their settlement. Getting your little patch of dirt to be the best and most powerful settlement is the difference between victory and defeat. Set during the Roman Empire competition to conquer the world is fierce.

Players need to construct towers, bridges and other pieces of fortification. Your world will be affected by realistic events like crime, and the buildings are modeled after historic buildings. If you can survive the next natural disaster and command your army you may be able to conquer Rome.

Imperium Romanum is set to release for PC in March.
