Injustice: Gods Among Us Trailer Confirms Nightwing, Cyborg

There's a lot to love about the latest trailer for NetherRealm Studios' next fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. In addition to showing plenty more brawling between super heroes and villains, it reveals two more playable characters.

In the game, super heroes battle both villains and each other. NetherRealm has been very coy about the story thus far. In voiceover, Super Man accuses someone of betraying him and stealing "her" from him. A simple misunderstanding, I'm sure.

The trailer starts out with previously announced heroes and villains slugging it out. At 1:04, we see the new additions to the cast: Cyborg and Nightwing. Both use gadgets extensively in combat, with Cyborg relying on energy weapons and Nightwing relying on his electrified escrima sticks.

I still think Injustice's title feels like a placeholder but everything else looks in order. Seems worth keeping an eye on. Game's out next year on the PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360.
