Fans who’ve seen the new Iron Man film have already praised it. Saying that it does indeed live up to the hype. Of course…they also got to see it early, and there’s a bit of the old glad handing going on with stuff like that. Still, that doesn’t take away my own excitement for the movie. The game on the other hand I still have reservations about.

It’s a movie licensed title that is coming out with the movie, which means it was more important to hit that release date than to get a great game. The latest behind the scenes look shows Robert Downey, Jr. reprising his role as Tony Stark in the game. This is the way it should be, but is no guarantee of quality. Remember how horrible Tobey Maguire’s voice acting was in the Spider-Man games? There was no consistency in the quality. But the second in that series was a hell of a lot of fun. Let’s hope the same happens with Iron Man.
