It’s not quite a hardcore game but it’s not quite a casual title either. In any case, just be glad that JU-ON: The Grudge isn’t a mini-game compilation. Anyway, XSeed Games announced today that JU-ON: The Grudge for the Nintendo Wii is now available at retailers nationwide.

According to the press release…

Featuring five expansive levels and another level to be unlocked, from an abandoned warehouse to a crumbling hospital, players venture deep into darkened halls utilizing the Wiimote as a flashlight. The light cast exposes objects necessary for level progression such as keys and flashlight batteries, but may also unveil horrors best left in the dark.

In addition to walking around in creepy environments and using the Wii-mote as a flashlight to uncover puzzles and perform other adventure-game related task, there’s also a multiplayer mode. Yep, a second player can join in on the fray by pressing buttons and triggering “unique” scares.
