JoWood Announces A New Star In The Industry: G-StarAuthor: William Usher

In their continued effort to appeal to as many gamers as possible, JoWood has started a little something-something called “G-Star”. Not to be associated with a g-string, this new “G-Star” software branch will cater 9-12 games a year to the PC, Nintendo DS and fan-favorite PS2. But the best part about it, is that all the games being released will be under $30.
Over the next year, JoWood studios has announced that they plan on releasing these (9 through 12) new line of games for the growing casual gaming audience. The press release states, “The products of "G-Stars" are placed in the price segment from 9.99 to 29.99 and intended to attract also female players and entire families in addition to traditional casual gamers. Because of JoWooDs dedication to full-price games, the additional way to follow the trend "Good gaming at fair prices" is went in order to enlarge the target groups.” According to the PR sheet, “The releases of the G-Stars line in the first half of 2007 will include the game to the movie "Flyboys" for PC, the great submarine shooter "Aquanox" for PS2 and two Nintendo DS titles "Genius cards" and "Lifesigns - Hospital Affairs". |
