JoWood Announces Yoga For Wii; Hardcore Gamers Celebrate

It’s just what all those core gamers have been asking for: the stretching action and dynamic workout routines of Yoga. And JoWood has filled in the request of hardcore gamers and their need to get into shape with another fitness casual game. Hence, they recently announced Yoga for Wii at this year’s GamesCon.
Never mind that this is another double-syllabic fitness training program that falls into the ranks with Wii Fit or Your Shape, this game will push your hardcore thumbs, toes and tummy to their limits. Master Chief never had to break a sweat like a gamer touching their head to their toes in Yoga for Wii. Heck, he’d probably break a fingernail trying to get his head down to his knees. Hmph, and you thought saving the world was hard. Markus Reutner, Marketing Manager at JoWooD commented in the press release, saying… “Yoga for Wii targets Yoga practitioners and those following a healthy lifestyle as well as Wii owners. The fact that Wii system is available in millions of households sets up a great base to build on”… “Besides Austria, Germany and Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, UK and North America are the target markets.” Ah, can you smell what JoWood is cooking for gamers? It’s called fat-free gaming. The only thing getting killed in the process of playing Yoga for Wii is body fat. Oh, and did I happen to mention that Anja Rubik an international Top 5 model will be featured in the game? Yeah, because a beautiful model helps gamers concentrate a little harder than usual.
