After what seemed like forever, Joymax has finally sent out word that they will update SilkRoad Online with new content. What’s more is that this new update is due out sooner than expected and will be available this July.

For those of you who don’t know, Silkroad Online is an MMORPG based on ancient Chinese culture and features large open environments and plenty of party and guild-based quests.

According to the press release, “Adventurers resourceful enough to reach the summit will find themselves face-to-beak with the ancient king of the Rocs, a monstrous, crimson bird that stands nearly 100 feet tall. His anger at the humans who disturb his rest knows no bounds, so those who wish to steal his treasures should be prepared for an epic battle.”

Joymax’s pride and joy, Silkroad Online, will receive an upgrade that includes a new jewel box event, a new area called Roc Mountain, and a new dungeon for players level 80 and above in the Legend IV Plus update.
