In the new trailer we get to see Rico back in action to take down the evil President Dictator of Panau, and the trailer has him looking like a Spanish James Bond.

The original Just Cause was a pretty cheesy game, though. It had a wacky President who suppressed the people of a small island but didn’t pose much of a threat outside of that. His kung-fu antics in the final showdown with Rico was hilarious, to say the least.

The new villain of Just Cause 2 is the President of Panau who usurped the position via an assassination. Avalanche Studios wasn’t content on just making him an evil President of a small island, though, he’s also an evil mastermind out for world domination…complete with an odd looking device he’s planning on using to control the world. Yep, it’s ripped right from the unused pages of an Ian Fleming novel.
