For the first time in a long time, a company has announced that the closed-beta and stress-test of an MMO has become so popular, so big, so requested, and so talked about that the closed-beta has become open to the public.

YNK Interactive recently sent out word that their first-person shooter MMO, K.O.S. Secret Operations is still in closed-beta but it’s now open for gamers who want to get in on the action. This is actually in response to heavy demand from players who actually wanted to partake in the closed-beta.

According to the press release…

A major update with some fixes and additions has just been released, based on player feedback during the first week. This final week of testing will run through 10/13/09. Players who try out the game also have a chance to win an exclusive limited edition K.O.S. iPod Touch by entering the K.O.S. Feedback Kontest. Other contests and events are running during the final week as well, with some great prizes.
