South Korean game publisher, NHN Corporation, announced today that the upcoming Karos Online will be undergoing further closed-beta testing and that gamers can win some nifty items and prizes simply by participating.

According to the press release…

Free-to-play MMORPG Karos Online will be filled with opportunities for players to win prizes. The event, which is scheduled to take place from 23rd to 25th October, will feature lots of great prizes and several ways for players to win”

The events available for players to win prizes include collecting lottery tickets, in which every half-hour a player is selected to win 30 Potions of Rejuvenation. Fighting any or all of the four boss monsters in the game will allow players to be eligible to receive rare potions or an uber-rare Gold Wolf mount. Last and probably the least effort required to win something useful, is that the first 30 players to report any bugs will be eligible for 30 Potions of Rejuvenation.

Prizes won during the events will not be handed out until the Karos Online open beta begins. Players who would like to participate can do so by visiting the Official Website. Karos Online’s open beta is expected to go live later this year for North American and German gamers.
