Come October 22nd TripWire Interactive’s Killing Floor will receive a massive content update…hailed as the largest since the game’s debut. Not only will it be receiving new content but there will be a free weekend hosted by Valve’s Steam starting on October 22nd.

According to the press release…

To celebrate and to allow as many people as possible to try it out, in cooperation with Tripwire and Steam there will also be running a free weekend on Steam from Thursday October 22nd through Sunday October 25th.

Killing Floor is a first-person zombie shooter that’s been receiving some pretty good press as of late. The game was brought to North American audiences a short while ago and now it’ll be free for the weekend. So that’s something definitely worth checking out.
