Killzone 2 Controls Will Change In Patch 1.27Author: Pete Haas

Depending on who you ask, Killzone 2's controls are described as either "weighty" or "sluggish." To satisfy those who hate the controls without pissing off those who like them as-is, developer Guerrilla Games has made a compromise with the upcoming patch.
Patch 1.27, due later this week, adds a High Precision option to the controls. "When this option is switched on, it makes the analog sticks more responsive to small movements," explained lead multiplayer designer Eric Boltjes on PlayStation Blog. "Turned off, the controls behave exactly as they did before the patch. It’s not a radical overhaul of the control system, so the layout and the ‘weight’ of the controls remain the same." High Precision will be enabled by default for new players but disabled for those of you who already play the game. Seems like they're trying to be very careful not to annoy either side of this issue but I doubt this will stop people from complaining endlessly on the game's forums. Controller layout will become the new gripe, I assume. Patch 1.27 makes a few other tweaks to multiplayer as well, such as unlocking all Badges for Skirmish mode and nerfing the Assault Badge.
