Sony announced today that a second multiplayer map pack for Killzone 2 is on the way. The "Flash and Thunder" map pack contains two more multiplayer maps and will arrive in June.

As previously hinted, both maps are from the original Killzone. In Beach Head, the ISA defends a coastal stronghold against an amphibious invasion by the Helghast. In Southern Hills, the ISA assaults a Helghast fortress on top of a hill.

You'll be able to pick up these new maps on June 11th. The first KZ2 map pack, released on April 30th, was $5.99 so "Flash and Thunder" will probably cost the same amount.
