TT Games and Hellbent Games recently sent out word that the larger-than-life adventures available in the new DS title, LEGO Battles, is now available at retailers. And yes, this game comes jam-packed with so many different characters, vehicles and monsters that you can actually simulate pirates versus ninjas and that’s no joke.

Boasting 55 playable characters, more than 30 operable vehicles and more parts, pants, heads, hats and bodies than you can shake a LEGO stick at. The game features three major LEGO themes, including pirates, space and castle. Players will gain access to all parts from these themes and can “build-and-battle” on the fly with the new story mode, free mode and multiplayer online modes.
