LEGO City Undercover New Gameplay Trailer Released
Other than Grand Theft Auto V the only other high-end open-world game we have to look forward to in 2013 is LEGO City Undercover. The newest trailer for the game showcases more of the open-world antics that players can get involved with, and by all means this game looks absolutely freaking fantastic.
The new teaser trailer comes courtesy of Nintendo Everything, who hosted the new video. Unfortunately, the trailer is pretty short and clocks in at just under a minute, but it gives you plenty to look forward to as well as a lot of cool looking stuff you can engage in throughout the open-world LEGO game. Check it out below.
The fighting system looks slick. It seems to have a bit of a Sleeping Dogs meets Oni fighting mechanic going on, which is straight-up sick. I love the way you can perform running takedowns or execute counter-throws.
LEGO City Undercover is set for release exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U. Even if the Wii U doesn't get GTA V I don't think fans would be too pissed if they at least get LCU as an alternative. Also, I just have to say that the vehicle physics look astoundingly smooth. TT Games has done a great job with the visual presentation of the game so far. I just can't wait to see some more gameplay and maybe an entire mission so we can get a real feel for the game's core mechanics.
You can look for LEGO City Undercover to land on store shelves for the Wii U in early 2013.
