FatShark Games announced today that the official website for the Western shooter game, Lead and Gold is now up, open and running like a good ‘ole fashioned saloon. It also looks like Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption will be getting a little competition soon, which is always good for the genre.

According to the press release…

Lead and Gold – Gangs of the Wild West catapults the player straight into the dramatic crescendo of the Western myth. Allowing players to relive the thrills of a gunfight in classic western settings such as main street of a frontier town or the claustrophobic depths of a gold mine.

The new website plays host to some cool new features detailing the upcoming mythic Western game, including some brand new screenshots, concept art and a few toothless renegades. Well, I don’t know about the toothless renegades but it sure as heck sounds good.
