Left 4 Dead was pushed back from a November 4th to November 18th release but you may get to shotgun some zombies on the 4th after all. Word on the (undead-infested) street is that the Left 4 Dead demo will be coming right after Halloween.
"We're going to announce a date before Halloween, and the demo will come out in early November," Valve VP Doug Lombardi told Shacknews. Lombardi also reveled that the demo will feature two missions set in the Hospital map and will support four-player cooperative play for the Survivors. Unfortunately, the demo won't give you a chance to play as the Infected (though the full game will).
Stay strong, folks. Just two weeks to go (give or take). If you're chomping at the bit for some steamy human-on-zombie action, you can always download the free Zombie Panic! Source mod for Half-Life 2 off Steam.
