This week's PlayStation Network update features a little something for everyone, so long as "everyone" includes fans of semi-sports, a blocky Caped Crusader and lots of PlayStation Minis.
Rey Gutierrez has made his weekly visit to the PlayStation Blog, giving the details of this week's PSN update. While these updates usually end up including one or two additional surprises come Tuesday, the Monday briefing at least gives you some idea of how many games you might be buying. This week's update begins with the PlayStation 3 download of adidas miCoach, which I am literally just hearing about for the first time right now. This is basically a workout title that utilizes the PlayStation Eye, a Move controller and either the miCoach heart rate monitor or any ANT+ compatible monitor. Moving on, then? Next up we have Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, which allows the Dark Knight to team up with some of the world's most popular cape-wearing good guys to take down the likes of The Joker, Lex Luthor, etc. Bats will be accompanied by liquid physics puzzle title Puddle for the Vita, as well as the on-rails shooter Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, the brawler Malicious and the cross-platform compatible Foosball 2012. This week's update will be rounded out by demos for Puddle and Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition, and a slew of minis including Wizorb, Gang Wars, I Kill Zombies and Time Soldiers. Maybe not a banner week, but you can't argue that there isn't a decent amount of content hitting the virtual store during a season that's notorious for offering next to nothing. Back to top
