Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Season Pass Unlocks Three Extra Levels

Disney is making full use of the Star Wars license by partnering with Lego for the upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The upcoming game received a full rundown of its season pass that spans multiple eras of Star Wars, and three brand new levels.

As detailed on Eurogamer, the Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens season pass is only $10, and it comes with quite a bit of content when it launches on June 28th, including five character packs and three playable levels centered around The Force Awakens.

The first level is called Poe's Quest for Survival, and stars ace pilot Poe Dameron's dangerous journey from the junk planet of Jakku back to the Rebel's base. The mission sees players seeking out the BB-8 droid unit before finding a ship and attempting to get back to the Resistance.

The second level included in the season pass for the Lego rendition of The Force Awakens puts players in the role of the First Order with Kylo Ren leading the charge against Maz Kanata's castle. A number of vehicles and characters will be at the player's disposal, including various Jakku freighters and several characters from the movie.

The third and final level is centered on Starkiller Base, which revolves around two Rebel pilots maneuvering through the Starkiller Base to stay out of harm's way from the First Order. It's impossible for me to see the name “Starkiller” and not think about Star Was: The Force Unleashed. Every time the name pops up it's hard not to think Darth Vader's secret apprentice. Anyway, the third level will sport multiple playable vehicles and characters, just like the other two levels featured in the season pass.

Playable levels aren't the only thing that gamers will get when they pony up $10 for the extra content in Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. As mentioned at the top of the article, the game will sport lots of content from the different eras of Star Wars, from the Clone Wars to the Galactic Empire to the era of the First Order.

Quite a few recognizable characters will appear in the five different character packs, including Jar Jar Binks, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, and Aayla Secura from the Jedi side. There's also a damaged version of Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, Padme and Captain Panaka from the prequel trilogy.

A “Freemaker Adventures” pack is also included in the season pass, which includes a number of different characters you may not have heard of, from Baash and Kordi Freemaker, to Naare, Ram, Roger and Graballa the Hutt. There are a bunch of new characters featured in the pack.

The last two packs for Lego's The Force Awakens centers around the Rebel heroes such as Ezra, Ahsoka and Hera, as well as the Clone Wars legends such as Ventress, Cad Bane, Captain Rex and Savage Opress.

This upcoming Lego Star Wars game seems to be going all out with the content. If you want the season pass bundled in with the game it will be available exclusively for the PS4 and Xbox One in a Deluxe Edition set for $70. For the other platforms, the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, the season pass will be sold separately for $10. Alternatively you will be able to purchase each of the character packs individually for $3. The Jedi pack mentioned above will be exclusive to the season pass, so that's something to consider.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will launch on June 28th.
