One of the great things about hearing there’s a new game in development for a favorite franchise is that you may be prodded to retry an old classic you love, or in the case of Lorne Lanning’s confirmation of a new Oddworld game to go back and play something you missed. I still haven’t played more than the first little bit of Stranger’s Wrath and think now may be the time.

There’s nothing to get excited about though, as Lanning gave no details on the game. Will any of the previous characters appear? How will the game play? What the heck is the new game going to be? We know nothing except the game is in development. Which indicates to me that I have plenty of time to play Stranger’s Wrath.

If Lorne is ready to announce the game is being made I’m hoping we’ll get a brief look at the game at E3 this year.
