Capcom really knows how to throw the gauntlet down for the competition. When you see a trailer like the one featured in this article for Lost Planet 2, it kind of makes you feel like a lot of other developers are just wasting their time. And sadly, by comparison, Lost Planet 2 makes Bionic Commando look like child’s play.

Earlier today some new information for Lost Planet 2 was unveiled…specifically in regards to the demo and some multiplatform talk. Following up on the demo news is some new media for the game from Capcom’s annual Captivate event.

The following trailer is a cooperative effort of sorts, featuring more than a handful of characters going at it with one very large, pissed off lizard-monster. And no, this is not the kind of lizard-monster you might see in a Godzilla flick, it’s more like a lizard monster you would expect from the Lost Planet franchise: large, slimy, and featuring more ways to murder you than a Eli Roth movie.
