Even though Sony acknowledged back at E3 that M.A.G was due for release this year around the time of the holiday rush, it has now been confirmed that M.A.G won’t make the congested holiday season line-up. Instead the game will appear on store shelves just after all the festivities.

On the Official PlayStation Blog it has been confirmed that M.A.G’s shelf life won’t begin until January 26th, 2010. It looks like Sony has scheduled the release to pretty much avoid all the competition of the high-end releases, which may or may not be in M.A.G’s favor. After all, most companies clean up on consumers during the Yule tide season.

Well, at least they can relish in the fact that three-to-one gamers are looking forward more to M.A.G than Halo 3: ODST. However, poll or no poll, that’s not really going to help sell stock keeping units.
