Sumthing Else Music Works announced today that the official soundtrack to Wii action game MadWorld is now available. The 20-track album can be purchased through retailers and through digital distributors Sumthing Digital and iTunes.
The twenty original songs were a collaboration between Platinum Games composer Naoto Tanaka and hip-hop artists OX, Doujah Raze, Sick-YG, Bandy Leggz, Wordsmith, S.O.U.L. Purpose, and Optimus. Tanaka provided the beats and these artists recorded their vocals on top of them. Like the game, the lyrics are a bit explicit so wear headphones if your parents are home, kids.
The soundtrack is $9.99. Judging by how few of you ponied up cash for the actual game, though, I don't expect this album to be flying off the shelves.
