Pre-order customers will be able to get their hands on an exclusive demo for Madden NFL 10. If you think pre-ordering a game to receive a demo that allows you to determine whether to buy said game is ass backwards, though, don't worry because there's a public demo in the works as well.

GameStop pre-order customers will get an demo that allows players to play a game between the Steelers and Cardinals, a rematch of last year's Super Bowl, with five-minute quarters. "We will also be issuing a demo via Xbox LIVE and PSN that features the Giants vs. Cowboys with 2 minute quarters,” EA told Shacknews today. “The GameStop demo is exclusive in terms of content."

The GameStop-exclusive demo will be released in July. No word on when the public demo will hit PSN and Xbox Live but I suspect it'll arrive closer to the game's August 14th release.
