Magicka, the colorful co-op game of risky spell-flinging, is now headed to tablets in a brand new 2D adventure called Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet.
Not to be confused with the original Magica or the recently announced Magicka: Wizard Wars, Wizards of the Square Tablet takes the familiar mechanics of the first game, squishes them down from three to two dimensions, and lets players team up in order to cast spells, battle baddies and, every so often, catch one of their amigos in the crossfire.
Published by Paradox Interactive and developed by Ludosity, Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet is now available for iPad and Android tablets and features a brand new story for players to enjoy. Similar to its PC big brother, Square Tablet lets up to four players play cooperatively in the same game from their different devices, mixing and matching spells to their heart’s content as they attempt to freeze, explode or set fire to an untold number of adorable bad guys. So, basically exactly what you’ve come to expect out of a Magicka game.
