We continue our coverage of the characters in Mario & Sonic at the Olympics with the ne’er do well Shadow and flatulence fan Wario. The two are juxtapositions of the main heroes in the respective worlds. SEGA has passed along some new screenshots featuring these two battling it out in various Olympic events. Also included for your enjoyment is a new gameplay video.

The latest video showcases the trampoline event, which I didn’t even realize was a real event in the Olympics. I used to jump on a trampoline for hours as a kid, and not once did I get a medal. I did other things on the trampoline later, and even though you’d expect some sort of reward I still had no shiny object to place around my neck. The video showcases how you’ll have to use the Wii Remote to pull off tricks while in the air, and then make that perfect landing. Or dismount…or whatever it is they call it.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is scheduled to release on November 6th for the Nintendo Wii, and in early 2008 for the DS.
