Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 A Possibility?

Hype Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 A Possibility? on N4G
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 A Possibility? In the most recent issue of EGM (The one with Ryu on the cover looking like he pumped more steroids than Barry Bonds), Street Fighter IV producer, Yoshinori Ono, talks shop about the newest entry in the SF saga, dispelling all beliefs that the game might be in 3-D when it’s finally released (It’s actually drawn with 3-D visuals, with the combat being entirely old school 2-D).

But that’s not even the most interesting part of the article, at least not in my, multi-hit combo, fanboy eyes. In even greater news, Ono goes on to talk about how he’d love to bring back the Darkstalkers series or (I hope you’re sitting down for this) the Marvel vs. Capcom series, which many have since believed to be dead ever since EA bought up the rights to Marvel to make that terrible Rise of the Imperfects games.

In his own words, Ono states: “I’d love to make a new Marvel vs. Capcom.”

Now, whether Marvel is deciding that EA is a waste of time, or EA is willing to sell the brand back, I don’t know. Nor do I know if Ono’s just pillow talking all of us too immature and quixotic to give up hope for a sequel to one of the best fighting franchise’s ever.

But as I’ve said before, many, many, many, many times, Marvel vs. Capcom is one of the few games I’d literally sell plasma every week in the year if a sequel could be a possibility (If that’s even possible). I’m still waiting for my Moon Knight vs. Strider match-up, daggonit
