Like its predecessor, Mass Effect 2 will get a Collector's Edition. It's only $70 for the Xbox 360 and $60 for the PC so it's not as ridiculous as some CE's.
The Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 2 will be packaged in a special tin case and contain the following:
Copy of Mass Effect 2
48-page "Art of Mass Effect 2" hardcover book
Issue 1 of Mass Effect Redemption comic book
Bonus DVD with behind-the-scenes and making-of videos
Unique in-game weapons and armor
The bonus weapons and armor are likely different from those offered with GameStop pre-orders. Both the regular and Collector's editions of ME2 will be released on January 26th in North America and January 29th in Europe.
