Xbox 360 RPG Mass Effect landed on the PC last May and though it spruced up some features of the 360 version, it also had a few bugs. BioWare's been listening to your feedback and they're planning on releasing a patch soon.
A BioWare community coordinator revealed a patch was in the works in a post on the official Mass Effect forums. The patch is a joint effort between Demiurge (who ported the game to PC) and BioWare. It will be made available for both digital and retail copies of the game.
No word on when this patch will go live or what its specific contents will be. The community manager promised to reveal details when they're available so keep your eyes on that forum. Or we'll do it for you, I guess.
