Mass: We Pray Game Promotes Dante's Inferno

This week a prayer simulation game called Mass: We Pray was announced. As you might've expected, the game's a fake and it's a viral marketing ploy for a different product.

Mass: We Pray's website features screenshots of Mii-like characters sitting in church, as well as photos of a wireless crucifix controller. There's also a trailer that shows how virtual prayer can be fun for the whole family (posted below). Clicking on any portion of the site, however, leads you to the latest trailer for EA's Dante's Inferno.

This isn't the first time that the hack-and-slash game's been promoted with a "lol Christians are crazy" joke. Back at E3, EA staged a fake protest of the game. After its lukewarm reception, you would've expected them to take a different tack with future advertising but guess not.
