Max Payne 3 won't arrive in the first half of 2010, after all. In a financial update released today, Take Two Interactive announced that the game will be released next fall.

"Max Payne 3 is now planned for release during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010," stated Take-Two. The company's fourth fiscal quarter runs from August 31st to October 31st. MP3 was initially expected this winter, but then changed to an early 2010 release along with Red Dead Redemption, BioShock 2, and Mafia II.

Mafia II is the only other game of those four without a firm release date. According to the report, it's still due in the first half of 2010.
