Max Payne And Max Payne 2 Now On Xbox Live Rockstar announced today that third-person shooters Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne are now part of the Xbox Originals library. The move would've been a little more unexpected had the ESRB not rated both games for the Xbox 360 last month.

It might not be a surprise but it's still good news. Both games can be downloaded through Xbox Live Marketplace for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). Though the recent Mark Wahlberg movie might lead you to believe otherwise, they're good games.. If you're wondering why every other shooter on the market lets you slow down time, it's because Max Payne pulled off the idea so well.

Rockstar is re-releasing the games to stir up interest in the series before next-gen sequel arrives. Max Payne 3 is due on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC next winter.
