Today Mega Man turns twenty-two years old. To celebrate, Capcom has released a new trailer, screenshots, and information for his upcoming adventure Mega Man 10.

As you can see below, the game resembles the 8-bit side-scrollers that started the series. The graphics might be the same but the story's managed to get crazier. A virus named "Roboenza" has caused robots all over the world to malfunction and go crazy - no, seriously. The levels look really "out there" too - the video and screenshots show Mega Man battling through a stadium, riding a truck, and fighting a mouse icon.

You'll be able to play through the campaign as either Mega Man or his slightly more dashing companion Proto Man. An "Easy Mode" will be available for those of you afflicted with clumsy thumbs. A "Mega Man Challenges" mode will train you for the button-mashing onslaught of the single-player campaign.

MM10 will be released through Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, and WiiWare In March 2010
