Another retro-style Mega Man game is on the way. Nintendo Power unveiled their upcoming issue's cover today and it reveals that Mega Man 10 is in development.

All that can be gleaned from the cover art and the accompanying description is that MM10 will star both Mega Man and Proto Man and feature a range of new levels and features. Oh, and one of the bosses will be called "Sheep Man." Really scraping the bottom of the barrel for boss names, aren't they?

Only a WiiWare release is mentioned on the cover. This is a Nintendo-centric mag, though, so they're not going to mention versions for other consoles. MM9 appeared on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN as well so it would seem likely MM10 is multiplatform, too.

The NP issue featuring the game will hit store shelves on December 22nd. Also, Capcom's throwing a 22nd birthday party for Mega Man on December 16th. It seems like a good occasion for them to give us more information on Mega Man's latest adventure.
