Hype Mega Man 9 DLC Due This Week on N4G
Mega Man 9 DLC Due This Week Mega Man 9 might be a throwback to the 8-bit console era but there's one thing very modern about it: downloadable content. Capcom's releasing new DLC for the game this week across all platforms.

The content debuting this week will come with a new level and a new character. The level is called "Endless Attack," and it's a level that goes on forever (forever ever ever?). After getting as far through the level as you can, compare your score to other gamers across the globe to make yourself feel bad.

The new character, as was rumored, is Proto Man. Proto Man has a charged shot, power slide, and a shield to deflect bullets back at enemies. However, when hit he takes twice as much damage and bounces backward twice as far. Furthermore, he'll have no specific story mode and playing as him does not count toward Rankings or Challenges.

Both pieces of DLC are available on WiiWare Channel as of today. They'll hit Xbox Live Arcade on October 7th and Playstation Network on the 9th.
