Capcom recently announced that the next installment in the Mega Man franchise is now available for the Nintendo DS. Actually, this would technically be two installments given that both Red Joker and Black Ace versions of Mega Man Star Force 3 have been released.
According to the press release, “New to Mega Man Star Force 3 are “Noise Changes,” random enhancements that change Mega Man’s form and unlock new abilities. The two versions of the game, Black Ace and Red Joker, each have over 100 unique Noise Types that can be combined with Mega Man to unlock elemental powers based on earth, air, water and fire.”
The game contains two worlds that the player will travel between as they aim to defeat a meteoric nemesis bent on destroying both worlds. To enhance the experience (and possibly make some extra cash) Capcom has released two different versions of the game, both containing separate and unique items that can be shared. So gamers who uncover relics in the Red Joker version can trade up or share items with another gamer who has the Black Ace version, via Wi-Fi.
Mega Man Star Force 3 is rated ‘E’ for Everyone and has the suggested retail price of $29.99, exclusively on the Nintendo DS. For more gaming news, info and updates, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Game.
