Uforia announced today that their free-to-play online shooter, Mercenary Wars, is currently in open beta and MMOFPS gamers can sign-up and live out their life-long dream of being a hired mercenary. The game features lots of non-stop PVP action and the company announced that holiday events will be underway to kick-start the game’s highly awaited launch.

According to Chris Keswani, Marketing Manager of Uforia, he commented saying…

"We want to thank our community for their help throughout the beta period and recognize that they have made a massive contribution in helping us develop this game,"…"We are excited to unveil a new website and game trailer and hope current and new fans will like what's in store for the game."

The three events will last up until the New Year and some of the prizes include a gaming mouse or a 23’ monitor. Who doesn’t want to get their game-on with a 23’ monitor, really?

Mercenary Wars features customizable weapons, customizable characters, the ability to earn points and upgrade specific character stats and “lifelike” gameplay.
