Merscom announced today that they have eight brand new social-network games in the making and they’re hoping that everyone who networks socially will also put in a little time to game, too. The games are currently in development and are planned to launch for Facebook and other social networking services.

“Merscom was the first casual game company to integrate successfully media properties into casual games. It is the intent of Merscom to fuse gaming content to social media in such a way that social networkers find the full of experience of casual gaming,”
With millions of players already stuffing their faces with games like Mafia Wars, Armies, and Farmville, Merscom is hoping to further expand the bridge between non-gamers and playing casual games via a social network service. I’m pretty sure Merscom goal is to get all those millions upon millions of social networkers playing some social network games and royally clean-house.
