Metal Gear Solid 4 On 360 After All?

EvilAvatar.com is reporting today on a survey sent to a poster. The poster claims that his wife completed a survey from “a fairly popular marketing and research firm.” Among other topics one of the focuses was the possibility of seeing Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360. The poster includes several questions plucked from the questionnaire.

"Would you like to see Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360?"

"Would you buy an Xbox 360 just to play Metal Gear Solid 4?"

"On a scale of 0-100, with zero being not at all satisfied and 100 being very satisfied, how would you rate Konami's output on Xbox 360 to date?"

Now don’t go getting your knickers in a twist, this is an unconfirmed source reporting on an unconfirmed source. Not exactly reputable yet, but it’s a lead. For the moment MGS4 remains PS3 exclusive, but seeing as how so many marquis third party titles are changing stances these days, it wouldn’t be that surprising to see Kojima-san and crew align with MS.

If Sony lets Konami get out of their pocket on MGS4, someone needs to start investigating SCE because they just might be intentionally running the PS3 into the ground. Few games have ever been as important to a system as MGS4 is for the PS3 right now. With it, Sony has a trump card that, if played right, will get them right back in this race. Without it, they aren’t necessarily lost, but they’re in a hell of a lot rougher place.
