Metal Gear Solid 4 On 360 After All?

im tired of seeing microsoft taking all of sonys games,finalfantasy,devilmaycry4,assansinscreed,guitarhero,gta,i just heard their getting tekken 6 WTF!!!! and they try to steal little big planet and even metal gear solid 4 , stupid microsoft u know ps3 owns so u need to take sonys big hits u should be ashamed of urself u dont see sony trying to steal from 360 because they dont got nothing only weaka$$ halo, stop stealing from ssony make ur own games

Metal gear was first released on a homecomputer called MSX in japan.

Then hideo kojima made metal gear 2 solid snake (not to be confused with metal gear solid 2) and metal gear was ported to the nintendo 2/3 years later.

This type of Blog things are so bloody annoying. Stop saying the Ps3 is losing and look at the god damn sales figures. The amount of time the ps3 has been out for, has much more than beaten the 360 by the same time. THe ps3 sold way more in its first year than the 36, and is currently outpacing the 360 on sales, and mgs4 has put it up 180%. This was the same situation with the ps2 if you remember, even similiar sales figures for the same amount of time released. If you just wait a few years, the ps3 will be 2nd, maybe even to close on the wii. its only 5 million sales they need, and when you remember the ps2 sold 115 million, dont think the ps3 is down and yet, plus FFXIII, God of war 3, little big planet.... and others could push the sales up tenfold.

the MGS series started on the Nintendo! so to try and say it is a Sony game is stupid.

also Hideo makes the game. NOT SONY! they just put up the money to produce it.

i would love to see it on other consoles, but we all need to keep one thing in mind.

if Hideo can't get the game to fit onto one blu ray disk, then how many disks will it take to port it to the xbox?

1 blu ray = 6 dvd's (according to their sale's pitch in stores like best buy)

metal gear 4 will be 2 blu ray disks... do the math,

a game that takes say 8 dvd's will not be very profitabole...

so as much a i would like to see it on the xbox 360 for the rest of us, i don't think it will happen.

I sure hope it comes out the on the xbox. as an xbox owner I'd trade halo for a copy of MGS 4 on Xbox anyday. lol. Like someone stated eariler no body should be miss out on this great game. Konami will miss out on a lot of sales if they don't release it on 360. $$$$$$$$. Because alot of people including me will not buy metal gear solid 4 is only stays on PS3. I don't really see how MSG is playstation exclusive when did they release Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance on Xbox? hmm... Please come to XBOX 360! To any 360 fans that say the 360 is cheaper that may be true but you have to consider all of the accesories that the ps3 has built in that you have to buy on the 360 for example a wireless adapter is $100 an HD DVD player is $200 which if you get the pro which is $350 that comes to $660 which is even more expensive than the ps3 the ps3 comes with a blue ray player which is $1000 or used to be (i havent looked recently) i have both systems but i hope that Metal Gear Solid 4 stays on the ps3 because the ps3 is a much better system it may not have the best games out yet but they are starting to get much better like assasins creed by the way im kinda mad that sony is taking away backwards compatibility that may be there downfall.

People who often defend themselves for no good reason are usually afraid (aka any fanboy-xbox fanboy and ps3 fanboy). Now I'm not saying MGS4 IS going on Xbox 360, but I do think that every great game should go multiplatform. Well thats just my opinion but if was any game creator I would personally do it for $$$ :0. Anyways if MGS4 doesn't go on Xbox 360 :( then I'll just buy the PS3 since the price will be lower because MGS in my offense has the best storys. Halo's stories to me aren't that great but Halo mad fun online.

I don't see what the big deal would be if they released MGS4 on both 360 and PS3!!! I mean Konami and Kojima stand to make a hell of a lot more money with a multi platform game. I have owned both a PS2 and Playstation and have liked the games for the Sony systems more so than the Microsoft and Nintendo systems as of the mid 90's. BUT... $500 dollars, even with the price drop is still a hell of a lot of cash to shell out for a game system, no matter what exclusive games are coming out for it! It is gonna be REAL, and I mean REAL hard to NOT buy a PS3 just for MG4, but I would rather miss out on what I believe to probably be the best game of the 2008 year than spend $500 plus $60 for just one game!

Metal Gear Solid is a game so groundbreaking man may not see it for many Years. Gears Of War Is good too. and i really hope i dont have to pay 500 more bucks for PS3. i'd rather buy it for my 10x cheaper 360! All MGS games have been ported so its likely to see one for Xbox. so far these are the ported games:

MGS For PS1 Re released as MGS: Twin Snakes for Nintendo GameCube
MGS2 for PS2 rereleased as MGS2 - Substance for XBOX,PC,PS2 (re modified)
MGS3 for PS2 also a substance game for 360,Xbox,PS2

so 360 is likely even now with the HD-DVD Drive available.

The only interesting Sony-developed game is God of War. Everything else is third-party developed. I would love for MGS4 to hit the 360, then I got no reason to bye a PS3 and save a whole lot of money. I guess it will be some sort of 'sub'-title(substance,subsistence), allthough I hope not. I want to be able to play MGS4 at the same time as PS3 owners, not 6 months after when the game is old and forgotten.

I think metal gear is a waste of time and there is no point them releasing it on the Xbox360!

Your machine is too loud, repair services are ball busters and quite frankly I hate microsoft. Sony on the other hand is having a miserable time but because they have never ever let me down in the past with just playing fun games then I’ll stick with Sony. I need to go wii.

I hope they do put mgs4 on the xbox 360. I a huge metal gear fan and I own a 360. PS3 is too much money and there almost the same graphically. I wouldn't surprise because remember Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance!!!
